About
Lincolnshire Master Gardeners offer food growing advice and support to local people and communities.
This exciting new programme launched in April 2011 in partnership with the Lincolnshire Health and Wellbeing Fund supported by NHS Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire County County. It’s delivered by Garden Organic in partnership with Boston Borough Council (‘Incredible Edible Boston’ / ‘Grow to Eat’) and East Lindsey District Council (‘Seed to Plate’).
The new Lincolnshire programme is part of the wider Master Gardener network by Garden Organic supported by Big Lottery Fund’s Local Food scheme and Sheepdrove Trust. Click here to find out about our national partners

Lincolnshire Master Gardeners trainined April 2011
We’re delighted to have recruited our first volunteer Master Gardeners in Lincolnshire to act as food growing ambassadors in their local neighbourhoods. Click here to read the story about our April 2011 training.
Master Gardeners promote the benefits of growing your own food, providing advice to new community gardens started as part of a Health and Wellbeing programme, as well as wider communities through events, talks, and other innovative means.
As part of this, they also regularly mentor registered ‘households’: individuals, couples and families just starting to grow their own food.
Volunteers are actively supported by local based co-ordinator, Rick Aron, together with local partners.
